Jbel Saghrou Crossing
A remote crossing through Morocco's volcanic south
Overview
Jbel Saghrou is a stark, sculptural massif of volcanic peaks, mesas and hidden valleys. Its dry winter climate makes it an ideal alternative to the higher Atlas ranges.
Supported by a guide, muleteers and a cook, the route links isolated camps and villages while leaving walkers free to carry only a day pack.
